AlSat-1N

AlSat-1N is a 3U Cubesat being built by Surrey Space Centre (SSC). This will be the UKSA’s second Cubesat and is a joint mission between UKSA and the Algerian Space Agency.

Mark’s involvement has been on the C3D2 Cubesat imaging payload provided by the Open University in collaboration with e2V and XCAM Ltd. The payload comprises one narrow field and two wide field imagers using CMOS detectors to image both the Earth and a novel boom payload.
