ExoMars

ExoMars is an ESA mars mission comprising a rover to be launched in 2018, and the Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO) to be launched in 2016.

Mark was the project manager for the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter NOMAD UVIS spectrometer in collaboration with colleagues at MSSL (UK) and in Belgian industry and academia. NOMAD recently completed FM/FS integration and calibration, and the FM instrument is integrated onto the spacecraft ready for launch in March 2016.

NOMAD FM integrated on to the TGO spacecraft in Cannes
